Oregon is a long way from meeting its 2035 GHG reduction target but should nonetheless advance that goal by five years, a state commission said.

Oregon found it is on track to meet its greenhouse gas reduction goal for 2035 earlier than that date, so it moved the target to 2030.

Oregon's Department of Energy kicked off an effort intended to identify and analyze the many efforts the state might undertake to meet its GHG reduction goals.
