Recent departures at CAISO, the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission require new appointments by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The CAISO Board of Governors named a new chair and vice chair from its members while thanking departing Chair Ashutosh Bhagwat for his 12 years of service.

On April 3, CAISO topped its record for renewables serving load that it had set a week before, coming closer to briefly meeting demand with 100% clean energy.
