ISO-NE plans to decouple resource retirements from the capacity auction process and adopt a two-year notification timeline for retiring generators, the RTO told stakeholders at the NEPOOL Markets Committee.

The PJM Members Committee will convene a special meeting to vote on 20 proposals to revise the workings of the RTO's capacity market through the critical issue fast path process.

PJM plans to allocate more than 2,000 MW of transmission headroom to generators that requested additional capacity rights under a transitional process.
