FERC Chair Willie Phillips expressed confidence that the commission will approve its NOPR on transmission planning and cost allocation this year.

FERC OK'd the 2024 business plans and budgets for the ERO, though Commissioner James Danly called for “a significant improvement in … speed and agility.”  

Presenters at SERC's Board of Directors meeting said the region will have a lot of input into the ERO's Interregional Transfer Capability Study.
