Solar advocates urged the New Jersey BPU to maintain or increase incentives offered for new solar installations under a key program.

The New Jersey BPU granted waivers of rules governing its solar incentive program, a sign of the agency’s strategy as the state struggles to reach its  goals.

New Jersey’s Board of Public Utilities earlier this month denied requests by 15 solar developers seeking to extend the completion deadlines for 37 projects.
